Half Marathon training did not go well while I was in Ohio for Christmas, but I did have the chance to run on an indoor track yesterday morning at my dad's gym. The track was 12 laps for each mile, and I decided that it wasn't worth trying to count laps and instead I would just run for 35 minutes.
I am a numbers kind of girl, so it was strange for me to not have my Garmin watch or the treadmill to track my pace and distance while running. This was a big step for me to put the numbers aside, but it turned into a very nice, low stress run!
To get my training back on track, I plan to do my long run of 5 miles this weekend now that I am back in Florida and can run outside again!
